Welcome to Day 26 of our 30 day celebration of the 5th Anniversary of
Giving Thanks: The Art of Tithing, by Paula Langguth Ryan – where we’re answering 30 questions about tithing!
I want to live a Spirit based life. I have not been tithing which I see now is so important if I want to put God first. I’m thinking that the first step for me might be to start tithing and read your books. Does that make sense ? — All the best, Lolly J.
Absolutely. I’d start with Giving Thanks, and get the free Tithing Mastery Study Guide that goes along with it too – if you can, find a friend or two to create a Giving Thanks Tithing support group – you can meet weekly or monthly and the study guide walks you through great questions to ask yourselves.
If tithing a full 10% is too scary, the tithing study guide is great because it’s a graduated tithing course. Tithe 1% the first week/month; then 2% the 2nd and so on. After 10 weeks or 10 months (depending on how you do it) you’ll be effortlessly tithing the full 10% AND you’ll have worked through some serious money issues.
I’d also recommend getting a free copy of the e-booklet and workbook called Heal Your Relationship With Money.
That should get you started!
Peace and prosperity,
Paula Langguth Ryan
